After half an hour of continuous slithering, she made it out of the forest, she could see a small house with a sheep pen on the left side of it. She was extremely exhausted and thirsty, fatigue overcame her. She passed out and fell to the ground. Life was about to change for her…
A farmer trimmed the wool of one of his sheep, doing what he usually does every day. He was a young man with messy brown hair, green eyes, a small beard, he was about 5'8 feet tall and was a little muscular. His grey and white husky came barking and running to him.
“What you find this time Cloey?” questioned the farmer.
Cloey ran out of the sheep pen and he followed, wondering what his dog found. He caught up with his dog, the farmer gasped at what he saw.
“Oh my lord!” exclaimed the farmer. He couldn't believe his eyes, he had never seen a lamia before in his life, he read about them in books when he was younger and how they devoured humans whole. He decided that it would be best to help the lamia due to the condition she was in, he attempted to lift her in his arms and couldn't lift her for more than a second. The farmer decided to carry her human half in his arms and let her snake tail drag against the ground, after several minutes of dragging, he reached his porch then laid her down near the step. Cloey followed.
“Boy, she certainly is heavy!” said the farmer as he opened the door to his house.
The farmer picked up the lamia and started dragging her tail against the ground again, he reached his bedroom, laid the lamia down on the bed and began to investigate what was wrong with her.
The farmer first opened her mouth, revealing 2 large fangs and a forked snake tongue. The farmer then poured some water down the dehydrated lamias throat and unwrapped the bandages from both her hands and was shocked by what was on her hands.
Calluses and verrucas covered both her hands and the farmer thought that she would be better off without those nasty things.
“Looks like I'm going to need a knife for this one.” said the farmer, so he got a knife from his kitchen then he returned to his bedroom to begin fixing her hands.
1 hour later.
After cutting out her verrucas and calluses, the farmer began wrapping her hands in new bandages.
“There! All done!” the farmer said proudly, he returned to the kitchen to the kitchen to fill a wooden bucket up with warm water and soap.
He planned to give the lamia a sponge bath. The farmer put a large sponge inside the bucket of steaming soapy water and carried the bucket to his room. The lamia layed there on his bed, still unconscious, the farmer began washing her armpits. The lamia smelled like she hasn't bathed in a month.
“This is the most unexpected thing that happened to me in 6 years!” thought the farmer, he then started to wash her hair by dipping it in the bucket of water and then dried it with his towel.
The lamia was almost clean, the farmer started cleaning her breasts, he hoped that the lamia wouldn't wake up while he was washing that part of her body because he would feel so guilty of touching a woman's private parts. The last thing to wash was her back, the farmer turned her over on her belly, revealing bruises on her back as if she had been whipped. The farmer gently rubbed her back with the damp sponge, hoping that she wouldn't wake up. The lamia looked better than before, all there was left to do was to prepare dinner for the both of them since it was getting dark outside. Before the farmer could leave, the lamia regained consciousness.
“Uugh, where am I?” asked the lamia as she sat up on the bed and looked at the farmer.
“Who are you?” She asked puzzled. “You're in my bedroom in my house” explained the farmer.
“My name is Leon, my dog found you unconscious outside the forest near my house”
“Honestly?” asked the lamia.
“Of course!” replied Leon.
“I couldn't just leave you there, I had to help you, otherwise you'd be food for the wolves!”
“Thank you…” said the lamia thankfully
“Oh! I forgot to tell you my name!” said the lamia.
“My name is Laura!”
“Laura? What a beautiful name!” complimented Leon.
“Aww thank you Leon!” Laura said blushing.
“I like your name too!” She replied.
“Thanks!” said Leon smiling.
Laura's stomach growled. Leon knew she was hungry so he broke the silence.
“You up for some steak and potatoes?” He asked.
“Yes! I haven't had meat in four years!” She said excitedly.
“Alright, I'll get dinner started right away!” Said Leon as he went to the kitchen to cook up the dinner for them both.
1 hour later.
“Laura, dinner's ready!” Leon called.
“Alright, coming!” Laura replied, slithering past the living room into the dining room.
There were two wooden chairs and a small square table in the middle of the dining room. Laura was worried about breaking the chair with her weight so she moved the chair out of the way so she could coil her tail into a seat.
“What are you doing?” asked Leon with a puzzled look on his face.
“I don't want to break your chair with how much I weigh…” Laura said with an embarrassed look on her face.
“Alright, if you're that concerned…” Leon said sighing.
Laura coiled her tail into a chair and sat on top of it.
“Anyway let's dig in! Our steaks are getting cold!” said the farmer as he sat down.
Laura cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth enjoying the taste of her food.
“Mmmm! I haven't had food like this in nearly four years!” Laura said with delight.
“Quick question, what happened to you when I found you?”
Laura paused then put down her knife and fork.
“When I was twelve I was kidnapped from my village by a bunch of disgusting humans. They destroyed my village and killed the other lamias who resisted capture. They knocked me out and took me to a slave camp where I was enslaved for almost four damn years…”
Laura looked a bit down so Leon spoke up.
“My lord! That's horrible! How did you escape?” He asked.
“There was a huge fire that destroyed the camp and I made my escape. I don't know if anyone but me survived. I then snuck onto a cargo ship bound for this land and I hid in the cargo area of the ship and lived off rats and mice for several days. The ship came to a stop and I quickly slithered out of the ship, I don't know if anyone saw me so that's why I slithered quickly and then after a few hours of slithering through the forest, I fainted and that's where you...found me…”
Laura started sobbing quietly, Leon got up from his side of the table, went up to Laura and comforted her by hugging her.
“Hey shh shh, it's alright now, you can live with me for as long as you like!”
“Thank you, but I just feel so pathetic for getting captured, forced to work all day every day, live off slop, forced to wear ugly wool clothing and I had to sleep on the filthy ground!”
Laura continued weeping. Leon hugged her more and whispered in her elf-like ear.
“It's not your fault and you're not pathetic! I feel so sorry for you and your home. Feel free to consider this place home!”
Laura replied. “Thanks. What did you do to me while I was unconscious?”
Leon didn’t want to disgust or disappoint her with what he did while she was unconscious.
“I’ll tell you after dinner, okay?” He said.
“Ok... sure…” Laura said while she stopped crying.
The farmer and lamia returned to eating their dinner, the lamia finished her steak and milk but left her potatoes.
“Why aren’t you eating your potatoes?” Leon asked.
“What do they taste like?” Laura asked.
“They taste amazing with butter and salt, that’s what I made them with!” said Leon.
Laura stuck her fork into a tiny potato, blew on it and put it in her mouth.
“Not my style of food!” Laura said like a spoiled brat.
“Alright, don’t eat them if you don’t like them...” He then finished off his food before telling her everything he did while she was unconscious.
“When you were unconscious, I dragged you to my house, checked out what was wrong with your hands and I cut out all your calluses and verrucas then I wrapped them in new bandages. Your hands should heal in about a week. I also gave you a sponge bath since you stunk. Feel free to bathe in my tub anytime you like!”
“Thank you so much!” Laura exclaimed. She then got up, slithered over to Leon and gave him a big hug with her tail.
“Woah!” Leon exclaimed as she squeezed him gently. She had a strong tail, strong enough to bend steel. As she let go of Leon she smiled at him.
“I’ll try my best not to be a pain in your neck!” Laura said smiling with joy.
“Thanks! You can sleep in my bed tonight and I’ll sleep on the sofa!”
“Aww you’re so sweet to me!” Laura said still smiling.
“Well I better get to bed because I got a lot of work to do tomorrow!”
“Ok I’m feeling tired too from my trip all the way here, I’m off to sleep, Goodnight Leon!” Laura said before slithering into Leon’s room.
“Goodnight Laura!” Replied Leon as he cleaned the table.
Leon went over to his brown leather sofa, got undressed into his boxers and laid down on the couch with Cloey. The farmer and husky both fell asleep on the sofa, preparing for tomorrow...
